We came, we saw, we rubbed elbows with Andre Agassi, Jonathan Miller, and Gary Hart. Yes, the Milken Institute Global Conference, and the panel I organized there called “Blogs, Wikis, MMORPGs, and YASNS: Shaking Up Traditional Education,” has ended. So let it be known: I hereby officially call it a success!

But don’t count on my opinion. Instead, look to Liz, David, Will, and George for a much fuller overview of our panel and of life in the fast/power lane! :)

And a million thanks to the most wonderful set of panelist (and educators, researchers and gosh-darn humans) I could possibly have had the luck to bring together for this session. As I told them all at a dinner the night before our panel: it was like I was able to bring together in one room the mentors I’ve read, “watched”, and learned from these past years. Yes, the web and blogosphere are amazing media that enable “small pieces” to be “loosely joined,” but nothing beats sitting at the same table with your heros, soaking it all up!

Thanks Liz, David, Will, George, and Adrian. I’ll be seeing you soon!
