Thanks to the hard work and vigilance of my colleague and collaborator Carlos Olguin, we submitted two Interactive Posters to the upcoming
CSCW Chicago 2004 Conference, to be held November 6-10 just down the road (OK, far down the road!) from our offices. The first paper, “Ellis Auditorium: The Design of a Scalable, Fun and Beautiful, Socializing Webcast Experience,” describes our recent work to develop a new type of “sociable” webcast environment. The draft paper is available as pdf download in the “Read More” body of this entry. I’d love to hear feedback or comments from interested readers! I’ll post our second submission in a separate entry.

08/10 Update: We just got word that both posters were accepted. We need to incorporate reveiwers’ feedback, and will post an updated (final) copy when ready.
10/13 Update: I’ve replaced the draft copy with the accepted final version. Many thanks to Carlos for his hard work (not to mention creative genius)! See you at CSCW!!
